Alhamdulillah sir, I am having a very productive time here.

I have no girlfriend, but I like a girl and we frequently talk. Should I tell this to DP?

Powered by Froala Editor

When D.P asks, “Do you have a girlfriend?” Simply reply with a No. There is no need to provide extra information and talking about situationships or talking stages should be avoided.

Should I feel proud if he insults me, saying, "What did you do in your whole life, could not even make a girlfriend?" How should my response be?

Powered by Froala Editor

A sample response to said question may be, “Sir, I believe if I actually tried enough, I could go into a relationship. But as things are now, it will not be possible for me to provide the required time and effort towards a relationship since I am focusing mainly on my studies and my career at the moment. “

If you’re religious you may also reply that you avoid relationships because they are forbidden in your religion.

What is a guarded response?

Powered by Froala Editor

A guarded response is when you withhold providing extended information in case of topics you do not want the conversation to trail to. Such as, if the D.P asks, “Do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend?” With this, a simple yes or no will do as an answer. There is no need to give any further information unless the D.P specifically asks you to. If the D.P asks, “How intimate were you with your girlfriend/boyfriend?” It is best to respond that you only held hands and sometimes would kiss. Even if you have an extended history, it should be avoided. Or if the D.P asks “When do you smoke?”. You should reply simply by stating that you smoke occasionally when you are out with friends. There is no need to provide any excess information other than that.

Remember, you will always be speaking truthfully, but in certain cases when you know your response might show a sign of severe misconduct, it is advised to withhold information.

Should I prepare for pre-organized questions, so that I can answer perfectly? If yes then which are these questions!

Powered by Froala Editor

Yes. DP rapidly ask questions based on your answer. Just know yourself, your family, relatives, friends, interest, hobbies and Biodata.

What if I gave you 50 thousand tk?

Powered by Froala Editor

Sir, I would look for opportunities to invest this money into and save it for future purposes.

Try to be honest and confident about your answer. Actually explain how you would use the money.

When should I think before replying to him?

Powered by Froala Editor

When there has some calculation like given a puzzle to solve.

Powered by Froala Editor

If I share extra information on each of his questions, will it prove me oversmart or have a negative impact? How should I interact with each question?

Powered by Froala Editor

It is always encouraged to provide information to the point. Do not say extra unless you are asked to. However, in case you are asked about your family, or about your hobbies, it is okay to talk freely and say anything interesting that you may have in mind.

What are some common myths about DP viva?

You can easily lie your way out.

D.P asks too many academic questions

Talking about smoking or watching pornography is taken negatively

DP can ask me to prioritize their position in performance; why does he ask this question? Does he want to know if I am taking groupmates as a part of my competition or teamwork?

Powered by Froala Editor

He asks this question to know how good your judgment skills are. A leader should know how his subordinates are and also what his own shortcomings are.
